Membership rules

The basic principles

Cotswold Bowls Club welcomes everyone with an interest in this fascinating sport and opens its doors to prospective members of all ages, abilities and agilities - from juniors to great-grandparents, from absolute beginners to national level players. With 6 indoor rinks, an outdoor green, multiple leagues, on-site coaches, friendly matches and a wealth of club facilities, you can be sure that your journey of discovering is in safe hands when you visit us to find out more about this engaging sport.

If you are thinking of taking up bowls and would like to try it out before joining, then this can be arranged - contact the club and we will sort out everything that you need.

Qualified coaches are on hand a few times a week to help you out.

Respect

We show respect towards all bowls players without exceptions. No one is better than the other, and we treat every player equally. You will be required to act respectfully as our club member - both inside the club and outside of it.

Professionalism

We are organized & operated as a professional community organization and expect all members to act accordingly. You will be held to the standards of Cotswold Bowls Club and you will be expected to be a person of high moral character.

To become a member of the Cotswold Bowls Club you will need the support of two existing club members - a proposer and seconder.

We also welcome social members.
