Cotswold Bowls Club is a warm and friendly club where you can play bowls all year round.
We've been providing organised bowls matches since 1960, and we now have over 400 members with teams, competitions, tournaments and friendly games for men, women, mixed, juniors, seniors... in fact for anyone and everyone.
We also run a Tuesday morning 'roll-up' every week, if you get a sudden urge to have a bowl and haven't got anything booked in!
In addition to being the only bowls club in the area with both indoor and outdoor rinks (we have 6 of each!), we also have a fully equipped kitchen where meals are prepared for our regular social events, plus a well-stocked bar and a club shop.
Our members enjoy an active social calendar, including a tour (often overseas) every year, as well as holding regular charity fundraising events in support of local good causes.
So whether you're a complete beginner, a seasoned veteran, or just fancy trying something different that will challenge you a bit as well as providing a great social environment, simply pop along and say hello... you'll be made very welcome!
Our Facilities
Cotswold Bowls Club offers easy access for on-site car parking for members and visiting teams, including space for buses and coaches.
Our playing facilities include 6 indoor rinks, plus a large outdoor green that can be floodlit and can accommodate 6 rinks.

We offer tea and coffee facilities for all members and visitors.
We also have a large conservatory/function room which enjoys a panoramic view of our beautiful outdoor green.
This room is used to entertain our visiting teams on match days and accommodate our own special events.
It can also be hired out for use by community groups or for private functions.

Club Structure
The Club remains a voluntary organisation without shareholders, and no Director receives remuneration for their services other than legitimate expenses generated in the service of the club.
All monies generated by the Club are retained to sustain our costs and to promote future development.

Cotswold Bowls Club is a limited company run by a board of directors, supported by a small but committed army of dedicated volunteers, plus a few part-time employees engaged in delivering our administration, cleaning and catering/bar services.
