Here are a few photos from the recent Great Western Stroud Bowls Competition for Learning Disabled Teams that Cotswold Bowls Club was proud to host on Wednesday 10th June 2026. A Great time was had by all. Congratulations to all the participants!

"Dear Sylvia
Thank you very much for allowing us access to the Cotswold Bowls Club once again to organise our annual Great Western Stroud Bowls competition for Learning Disabled teams from around UK. This year we had 10 teams from Cardiff (3), Isle of Wight (3), Windsor (1), Derby (1) and Stroud (2).
Everyone enjoyed the day immensely and we had great support by Volunteers from your club organised by Martin Stockwell and Tracey Knowles.
We really appreciate the help given by the club to our disabled teams.
My usual request – we could accommodate two more Learning-Disabled teams – please ask around your contacts – and request they contact me if they would like to come next year.
