The Club are sad to announce the sudden death of one of our long-serving members, Gordon Blake.
The funeral service will be held at St. Mary's Church, Church Road, Lydney GL15 5TL (near Lydney Bowling Club) on Friday 8th May at 1.15pm, followed by a short private family cremation service.
Attendees at the funeral service are cordially invited for light refreshments afterwards at the Lydney Masonic Hall, Highfield Hill, Lydney GL15 4LH, which is just a short drive from the church. The family will join everyone there after the cremation.
Attendees will be able to park in the car park of the local Dean Academy School (GL15 5DZ), which is just a short 5-minute walk from the church.
Bowlers may wear their Club shirts if they so wish.

The board of directors and all members of the Club would like to express their deepest condolences to Maris and the rest of Gordon's family. He will be much missed.
